This seminar provides an overview of what it means to become an inclusive leader in your workplace and your community. Leaders need new skills to enable equity and inclusion in the workplace. In this seminar, we'll create a space for conversation to discuss progressive leadership in our workplaces and communities.

About the Facilitator

Gina Valle speaks several languages and holds a PhD in Teacher Education & Multicultural Studies from The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Prior to receiving her PhD, Gina earned a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Bachelor of Education (Ontario Teacher’s Certificate). Gina has been widely recognized for her ground breaking contributions to the field. She was the recipient of the Diamond Jubilee Award from the Office of the Governor General, received the Ordine al Merito from the National Congress of Italian Canadians in recognition of her work in diversity in Canada, scholarships from both the University of Toronto's Faculty of Education and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Gina also created an award-winning documentary, The Last Rite (2009). Gina is the founder of Diversity Matters.
